Our mission

Real estate exam prep that actually helps

LicensePrep exists because aspiring agents deserve better than PDF dumps, outdated flashcards, and ad-covered practice pages. We build clear, up to date, state-specific prep for the licensing exam.

Our story

Why we built this

The real estate licensing exam is one of the highest-stakes tests a candidate will ever take. Pass it and you step into a new career. Fail it and you lose time, exam fees, and momentum, sometimes just before a recession-shaped window closes.

Yet the tools available to prepare have barely moved in a decade. Course providers bundle thousands of pages of static text. Free practice sites paste legacy questions under banner ads. Mobile experiences are an afterthought, and almost none of them tell you where your weak spots are until you fail.

LicensePrep is our answer. Every question maps to a published state exam outline. Every answer has a clear, plain-English explanation. Progress is tracked so you know exactly when you are ready to book the exam. And the free tier is not a teaser, it is genuinely useful on its own.

We think everyone preparing for a real estate licence deserves a modern, well-designed, effective tool. That is LicensePrep.

What we believe

Our principles

Three ideas that guide every question, explanation, and feature decision.

Accuracy first

Every question is built from official state material, commission handbooks, candidate bulletins, and current licensing law. We don't guess, and we don't recycle outdated content.

Understand, don't memorise

Every answer comes with a clear explanation, the rule behind it, and why the other options are wrong. That is what gets you through the national and state sections, and through the first weeks on the job.

Accessible to everyone

Free to start, mobile-first, and clear regardless of your reading level or test-taking experience. A real estate licence should not be gated by the quality of your prep tool.

Where the questions come from

Always official. Always current.

Every question on LicensePrep is written against the published outline from the state commission that administers the exam. Nothing is paraphrased from third-party study guides.
